Welcome to the HCA Lower School, consisting of grades K - 5. The Bible says, "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." - Proverbs 22:6.
All HCA students are presented with the love of God and the truth of Jesus Christ every day. We have rigorous, ability grouped classrooms that are preparing our students to become excellent readers, deep thinkers, effective communicators, and efficient problem solvers. This is very important! However, giving every Academy student every opportunity to establish and develop a lifelong relationship with the God who created them is the most important thing that we do at HCA!
Through daily Bible lessons, weekly chapel services, and biblically-based life lessons throughout the day, our lower school students are not just learning to become excellent students - they are learning to become excellent people. Our lower school students are taught to serve God first in everything that they do and to put others before themselves.
It is so important that you begin establishing routines with your children while they are young. Successful people most always practice established, time tested, healthy routines. Make the time to read with your young child several nights a week. They will look forward to it!
