Hosanna Christian Academy held homecoming festivities the week of November 2 through 6. A different theme was assigned for each day with students and teachers dressing in accordance with the daily theme, e.g., Disney characters one day. A parade on Friday featured homecoming court representatives riding in convertibles and floats decorated by the high school classes. Elementary students enjoyed the candy throws. Yes, the high school students also enjoyed the candy.
Homecoming basketball games on Friday night resulted in victory for the varsity girls and boys. The girls defeated Mt. Hermon 49-34 to extend their record to 3-1, and the boys beat Northside Christian 87-75 to improve their record to 6-1.
A Saturday night banquet was a fitting end to the festivities. Attendees enjoyed a video produced by and featuring the senior class.
